Saipan "Youth Musical"

Ok folks, Guam has contacted us about our next youth choir project - A musical presentation preformed by YOU (the LDS youth), and presented in front of, not only the branch, but the public as well. Apparently, they've titled the musical Be Steadfast & Immovable, but it's not Jenny Phillips. The composer is Tami Creamer, and she's actually going to be flying to Saipan on March 7th and 8th just to help our youth rehearse for this. So it's very important that you're all in attendance. Who knows, if you're lucky, they're might be food involved.

So here's the tentative schedule:

Wed., March 5th 6:30-7:00pm: Introduce the music for the first time at mutual. Maybe we can start at 6 or earlier? Unfortunately, that's an important Girl's Camp prep. night that the priests have been working hard to present so it's important that we dismiss from opening exercises promptly at 7 o'clock.

Fri., March 7th, 6:00-7:30p.m.: Practice with the composer, Tami Creamer

Sat., March 8th, morning: Practice with Tami Creamer

Sun., April 27th: Unofficial date for the final performance. This is when the youth in Guam will be performing, and they thought it might be nice to do it on the same date, even if it's in different locations.

Because of Sister Creamer's travel schedule, we'll have to postpone the Girl's Camp hike until 3/15. Please let me know if there are any major conflicts with that adjustment.

Also, thanks again for all of your help with Fear Factor last night! You girls are the best! I'll try and post pictures soon!

goodbye weekend fun night...hello practice hours. xP
sounds cool...although i am still really confused. it's a musical as in a play with characters and songs, or just song performances?

To be honest Taylor, I'm not really sure myself. I get the impression that it will be similar to our New Beginnings program, except more acting instead of narration. I guess we'll know soon enough when we get the script.
